This is an instructional guide showing how to realign your Lid Bladder with its Vinyl Liner in Portable Spas.
The inflatable lid bladders have the tendency to shift as you remove them and place them on your tub. An unaligned Lid Bladder and Vinyl Liner looks like this:
An unaligned Lid Bladder and Vinyl Liner will put unnecessary pressure on the Inflation Port and may cause damage to the Lid Bladder.
To realign the Lid Bladder and its Vinyl Liner, follow these steps:
- Loosen the Inflation Port on the Lid Bladder and let some of the air out. You should hear a hissing sound as you loosen the Inflation Port and that indicates some air is being released.
- Allow enough air out of the Lid Bladder so that you can rotate it inside the Vinyl Liner.
- If you find it difficult to rotate the Lid Bladder, release more air until you are able to shift it.
- Continue to rotate the Lid Bladder until the Inflation Port is once again aligned with the Vinyl Liner.
