This is an instructional guide showing how to swap the "top and inner valve" of the Air Control Valve with a replacement that you have purchased or received under warranty from the Canadian Spa Company.

Step 1: The Air Control "top and inner valve" are held in place by two plastic flanges on the bottom of the black and silver "top".
To remove the Broken Air Control "top and inner valve" from their setting, you will need to pry upwards to release the flanges, which will be located 90° from the tips of the silver "wave" design. *It is recommended that you use 2-3 layers of masking tape on the acrylic surface to protect against the prying motion.

Step 2: Once the old valve has been removed, you should be left with the setting on the spa's acrylic.
Remove the replacement "top and inner valve" from their setting, which would have been sent as a whole.
Release the flanges by pressing them away from the body of the valve (below).
They should "click" and come away from the setting.

Step 3: Now you should have the replacement "top and inner valve" ready to insert into the open setting on the acrylic of your spa.

Step 4: Now, all you should have left to do is line up the small tabs on either side of the inner valve with the vertical channels in the setting. *Pay close attention that the flanges are not resting on the "smile" portion, as they will not "click" into place with that in the way (Reminder: flanges are 90° from the tips of the silver "wave" design).
