How to Replace the Inner Ring of the Jet Body to Use a Current Alternative Jet Face
Steps:
Remove the Jet Face
- Firmly grip the jet face and twist counterclockwise to release it from the jet body.
- If the jet is difficult to remove, gently wiggle it while pulling outward.
Locate the Inner Ring in the Jet Body
- Once the jet face is removed, you will see the inner ring seated inside the jet body.
- The inner ring is responsible for securing the jet face and ensuring proper water flow.
Remove the Inner Ring
- Use a pair of needle-nose pliers or a specialized jet tool to carefully grip and twist the inner ring counterclockwise.
- If the ring is stuck due to buildup, apply a small amount of lubricant or soak the area with warm water to loosen debris.
Install the New Inner Ring
- Align the new inner ring with the grooves inside the jet body.
- Firmly press it into place and twist clockwise until secure. Ensure it is properly seated to prevent leaks or improper jet function.
Attach the Alternative Jet Face
- Position the new jet face over the inner ring and align it with the notches.
- Twist clockwise until it clicks into place, ensuring a firm and secure fit.
Test the Jet Functionality
- Turn on the water and check for any leaks.
- Rotate the jet face to confirm smooth movement and proper water flow.
This process allows for easy replacement of jet faces, ensuring compatibility with updated designs while maintaining optimal performance.
